MCA members are not to join Bersih rally

MCA HQ, 28 Jun-MCA will not encourage and will not allow our members to participate. This is the position taken by the MCA Presidential Council when it convened its meeting this afternoon at Wisma MCA.

Replying to a reporter who inquired if MCA members taking part in the illegal rally would be suspended, party President Datuk Seri Dr Soi Lek informed that if any MCA member participates and is arrested, we will deal with them as a disciplinary case.

Dont be manipulated by Pakatan Rakyat

Meanwhile, MCA also urges Malaysian citizens not to be manipulated because it is Pakatan Rakyats aim to threaten stability and harmony. We reject the illegal assembly and if it is not managed well, we are concerned that it will bring hardship to the rakyat.
