MCA Youth Perak to DAP – No place for racial profiling in M'sian politics
The news report that DAP Perak Secretary Nga Kor Ming had allegedly described Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir as a "black metal" person not only comes as a dismay but serves to belie the racist attributes of DAP.
DAP may claim to be multiracial, but Nga's chauvinist labeling betrayed his Freudian slip against the Indian community and his Indian colleagues and counterparts. Moreover, such racist identification must remain in the bygone colonial or apartheid era of the past which has no room in modern day Malaysia.
No sound of reproach from DAP Indian wakil-wakil rakyat
Why are DAP Perak Deputy Chairman Sivakumar a/l Varatharaju, Vice Chairman Sivanesan a/l Achalingam not rebuking Nga?
The silence of Ipoh Barat Member of Parliament M. Kulasegaran is equally baffling. The 
fractious ties in Perak DAP which pits Kulasegaran against Nga and his cousin, the Perak DAP chairman Dato' Ngeh Koo Ham is no secret. Could his being tongue-tied be due to bitterness at being wiped out from the Perak DAP state polls, resulting with Kulasegaran no longer concerned for the chauvinist slurs sputtered against Indian voters?
Nary a sound of rebuke is heard from DAP Selangor Vice Chairman Charles Santiago or Manoharan who cried out loud about the Hindraf movement which is similarly strange as their constituency would expect them to reprimand Nga.
Neither an utterance of rebuff from PKR and PAS
What have other Pakatan elected representatives of Indian ethnicity to say about Nga's racist labeling? Nothing as of todate. Why haven't PKR Vice Presidents Surendran or Sivarasa admonished Nga's slur?
One does not need to contemplate about PAS' reaction considering that they are not bothered about how implementation of their hardline religious-based edicts will impact against non-Muslims, they are probably too happy to see both communities at odds with each other rather than try to mend the ties.
Perak MCA Youth urges all DAP members to spend more time reaching out to all multiracial Malaysians rather than being consumed by intra-party battles. Do refrain from adopting racist descriptions against any community and emulate MCA in our multiracial outreach and service to all Malaysians irrespective of ethnicity.
