Sale of fish head noodles in aid of Kuantan Chinese school

THE MCA National Youth will be organising a charity sale to raise funds for SM Chung Hwa Kuantan by selling fish head noodles on Dec 30 from 8am to 2pm at the Jalan Beruang Pudu hawker centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The charity sale hopes to raise RM50,000.

Prices of the noodles are set at RM100, RM500, RM1,000 and above.

VIPs to attend include MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, Kuantan School Board chairman Tan Sri Pheng Yin Huah, MCA Youth chief Datuk Wee Ka Siong, Deputy Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk M. Saravanan, My FM DJ Lim Teck Wen and Singaporean actor Chong Yao Thong.

The group is organising several events next year before Chinese New Year as part of their fundraising initiatives.

Dinners will be held in Selangor (Jan 4), Kedah (Jan 10), Kuala Lumpur (Jan 20), and lunch at Negri Sembilan (Jan 1) and a walkathon in Malacca (Jan 6).
