Klang MCA HQ burgled

KLANG: The MCA headquarters here has been burgled, resulting in the loss of 13 computers worth more than RM30,000.

Klang MCA organising secretary Yap Boon Feng said the headquarters located at Jalan Pendamar was broken into early yesterday morning.

"The robbers carted away some 13 computers worth more than RM30,000.

"They damaged the office's front door," he said when contacted yesterday.

Yap said although the computers could be replaced, the data stored inside was priceless.

"The computers contained four years' worth of classified information," he said, adding a report has been lodged at the Pandamaran police station.

South Klang deputy OCPD Supt Azman Abd Razak said police would investigate the matter.
