Disclose all seven AES summonses, Teja rep told
IPOH: Gopeng MCA has challenged Teja assemblyman Chang Lih Kang to disclose details of all the seven summonses he claimed to have been issued with under the Automated Enforcement System (AES).
Its chief Albert Chang Chun Chuen said Chang, who is from the PKR, should be ready to reveal the details since he had publicly announced that he would not pay the fines which totalled RM2,100.
"He should tell the people what offences he committed as well as the date and location for each summons," he said, adding that it was "irresponsible" for Chang to refuse to accept the punishment.
On Sunday, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha had slammed a PKR assemblyman in Perak for announcing that he would "defy" the seven traffic summonses issued to him.
A Chinese daily had quoted Chang as saying that he would not pay the summonses.
When contacted by The Star on Saturday, Chang confirmed the report, saying his personal assistant had found out about the summonses from the Road Transport Department's website.
He only revealed two summonses, saying that he was purportedly caught speeding in Kuala Kangsar and Subang Jaya.
