Press statement by MCA Youth Publicity Bureau chief cum Selangor MCA Youth chairman Dr Kow Cheong Wei

"I would like to urge youths from all institutes of higher learning to have a wider comprehension of the international arena, and to grasp the current and future trends of world development in order to enhance their self-confidence and ability to play an important role in the nation's development."

"Youths should be prepared to join the social community and to lead the country in the future, even though they are not living in Malaysia, but through globalization, whether they are in southern Asia, ASEAN or anywhere in the world. Their dynamics will affect the positioning of Malaysia."

"We do not need to worry about political chaos in Malaysia. That is only a storm in a teacup. The most important thing is that youths will become our leaders in the future. Thus they must learn to distinguish right from wrong, and to lead our country with excellence, peace and competitiveness."

MCA Youth Publicity Bureau chief cum Selangor MCA Youth chairman Dr Kow Cheong Wei made these remarks during the closing ceremony of the 14th National Undergraduates Leadership Camp. The 3D2N from 27 through 29 July 2012 camp was held at the Kuala Kubu National Service Training Center which saw the participation of youths from 13 local and international colleges.

MCA Youth was the main organizer, together with the Kuala Kubu education, youth and sports division. The closing ceremony was attended by Selangor MCA Youth chairman Dr Kow Cheong Wei, MCA Youth Education Bureau Chief cum Chairman of the camp Chong Sin Woon, Camp Planner cum  Leader Anthony Ma and others.
