Karpal: “Saiful Is A Passive Homosexual” - A Defeat But No Surrender?

Living in a lie must be exhausting. This must be the reason why Anwar Ibrahim is looking worse and worse everyday as if his ‘live’ has been sucked out of his soul. His face is sunken with dark circles widening around his eyes.

If living in a lie is so exhausting, then defending a liar must be as bad too. Imagine waking up everyday looking for other possible angles and ideas of another lie to defend previous lies.

A ‘good’ lawyer or politician may be able to do this for some time, but to do it forever is just impossible even for the greatest manipulator like Karpal Singh.

And yesterday, this proved to be true when Karpal, in his ‘struggle’ to defend Anwar, suddenly gave a bullet to the prosecutor to kill him off by pointing out that Saiful is indeed a passive homosexual.

During the cross-examination of government scientist Dr Seah Lay Hong, Karpal argued that the evidence of DNA profiles found in Saiful’s anus would lead to a conclusion that Saiful is a passive homosexual.

Karpal said, “I’m putting it to you that it is a logical conclusion, multiple DNA profiles in his anus makes him a passive homosexual,”

With that, we take it as a simple common sense or a logical conclusion that Anwar must be the active one. It is learned that the people in the court were shocked and Anwar’s family were puzzled, almost consumed with shame.

This makes perfect sense of why Anwar refuses to give his DNA sample all these while. He knows for a fact that the DNA found in Saiful’s anus is his. Karpal should know this too..so what just happened? Did Karpal slipped his tongue or did he do it on purpose?

What happened was that Karpal is exhausted. He is too exhausted and all drained out of ideas and energy to go on defending a guilty man. Exhaustion can make a person become disoriented and lost. And Karpal is almost totally lost - literally and metaphorically.

But what’s funny about liars and lawyers is that they can still manipulate their defeat. Instead of saying ‘we have lost’, they would say ‘you didn’t win’. So, instead of saying Anwar is an active homosexual who had sodomized Saiful, Karpal said Saiful is a passive homosexual who let himself being sodomized by Anwar.

Could it be that Karpal is trying to end the trial as soon as possible? Is Karpal crying for help?

For Karpal, surrender is not an option as it would mean breaching his contract with his client. The only way for Karpal to end this neverending exhausting trial is to gentlemanly be ‘killed’ by the prosecutor at point blank – the sooner the better now.

Hopefully the prosecutor gets the signal and put an end to it all as soon as possible. I’m afraid that should the trial be dragged further, Karpal might end up in a psychiatric ward or something.
