Ops Sikap24: 17 deaths reported on Saturday

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 Ops Sikap 24 on Day Five saw 17 deaths, police reported according to Bernama Online.

Bukit Aman police website reported that 11 of them were motorcyclists, followed by three each motorists and pedestrians.

The total was lower than the 24 on Friday.

The locations of the accidents were as follows: federal roads (7), municipal roads (6), state roads (1) and others (1).

At the same time 9,108 summonses were issued yesterday.

Ops Sikap 24 ends on September 6.
