1Malaysia Lantern festival

PETALING Jaya folk will be celebrating 1Malaysia Mooncake and Lantern Festival tomorrow at SJK (C) Yuk Chai, Jalan SS24/1, Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya. The event will be officiated by Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Datuk Chua Tee Yong at 7.30pm.

Jointly organised by a few Rukun Tetangga in Petaling Jaya, Voice of Women (Kuala Lumpur and Selangor), Petaling Trade and Industry Association and Petaling Chinese Associations, a host of activities have been lined up, including line dance and poco-poco dance, which begins from 5.30pm onwards.

The event will be attended by Petaling Jaya Selatan MCA Youth chief Sheah Kok Fah, Petaling Jaya Selatan RT coordinator Shamsuddin Hassan, Voice of Women president Chew Hoong Ling and Petaling Trade and Industry Association deputy president Tee Kee Tian, among others.

The public are invited to attend the event and refreshments will be provided.
