Eskay wants Anwar to reveal details of Thailand ‘trips’
Shazryl, now infamous for being part of the “Datuk T” trio — along with former Malacca Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik and Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) treasurer Datuk Shuib Lazim — was responsible for keeping and screening a video allegedly of Anwar having sex with an unidentified prostitute to members of the media at Carcosa Seri Negara last week.
Political blogger Syed Azidi Aziz, also known as Kickdella, wrote in a blog posting today that Shazryl had met up with him, five other bloggers and an “alternative media” news editor yesterday in Shah Alam to share the allegations with them.
“Over the past two years, how many times has Anwar been to Thailand? Who greeted Anwar in Thailand? Which hotel did Anwar stay in? What was Anwar doing in the hotel? And who paid for the travel expenses?” Shazryl had allegedly said yesterday.
“Don’t force me to reveal all of this … ask Anwar to answer these questions before attacking me,” Shazryl told the bloggers.
According to the Syed Azidi, Shazryl said that the revelation of the sex video was a “gift and sign” from Allah SWT.
It is understood that Shuib was also present at the meeting yesterday.
“I want everyone to know. I am not interested in politics and I am close to Anwar. I saw Anwar’s presence in Malaysian politics as good for “check and balance.”
“I am not from Umno or any other party, but I like it when the opposition is strong so that people’s interests are prioritised … but Anwar is not the man people know him to be, enough of the lies … Anwar has to step down and resign,” Shazryl had said.
But Mohamad Mahti Abdul Rahim, who was the late Tan Sri Megat Junid Megat Ayub’s bodyguard has insisted that Shazryl’s attacks against Anwar were nothing more than a personal vendetta.
The retired policeman said last week that Shazryl had told him that he would bring down Anwar before the video allegedly showing the opposition leader having sex with a Chinese prostitute surfaced on Monday.
Mohamad Mahti said that Shazryl had been angry with the Permatang Pauh MP for not wanting to testify in a civil suit he had filed.
“After that he started talking angrily about Anwar. He began to talk bad about him, saying ‘I will bring down Datuk Seri Anwar, whatever it takes,” he said.
Mohamad Mahti himself had agreed to be a witness in the suit where Shazryl claims that he is owed a RM20 million commission for securing the deal for the RM460 million “crooked bridge” between Singapore and Johor.
He said that when he testified in the case on March 8, Shazryl began badmouthing Anwar when court was in recess and continued to do so from that day onwards.
Anwar has so far not issued a response to Shazryl’s latest accusations.
