Pakatan is confused by claiming that the 13th General Elections will be unclean
DAP Parliamentary Advisor Lim Kit Siang and his Pakatan allies have not only refused to sign the Election Integrity Pledge, but they have also questioned the credibility of Transparency International, thus proving that Pakatan does not support having clean elections.
Before this, Pakatan had constantly used Transparency International's information on corruption to slam Barisan Nasional, and it is funny to see how Pakatan has suddenly decided to criticize them.
So, if Lim Kit Siang suddenly feels that Transparency International cannot be trusted, he should then withdraw all of his accusations towards the BN government.
As the General Elections is now approaching, we in Barisan Nasional have taken the first step to uphold integrity and to battle corruption and ensure fair elections by signing the Election Integrity Pledge. Pakatan leaders on the other hand have done the opposite, thus Pakatan should have the courage to put their words into actions now.
Instead of blaming others, Kit Siang should have the courage to sign the Election Integrity Pledge, but as he did not, it proves that Pakatan needs dirty polls so that they can continue using their slogan of free and fair elections to continue deceiving the people.
All along Pakatan has bragged about fighting for clean polls, but now not only have they refused to sign, but they dare to criticize BN. Obviously, Pakatan has lost their direction and become confused.
If Pakatan does indeed advocate clean and fair elections, they must then respond to the Prime Minister's call for all election candidates to sign the Election Integrity Pledge before the General Elections is announced.
