Pakatan's Manifesto Rakyat is just a document without any intention to fulfill promises

The Manifesto Rakyat as launched by Pakatan is merely to curry favours and fish for votes from the electorates. It is totally irrelevant to fulfilling the rakyat's promises.

Ever since Pakatan seized control of 4 states after 308, they consistently play with words, mixing promises and manifesto. Pakatan uses promises to the people as a political manifesto, to gain support from the public without any thought of implementing the pledges.

Pakatan began to mislead the rakyat even before 308. They used the political manifestos as a promise to the rakyat, hoping to woo support from the rakyat. But until now, despite 5 years of Pakatan administration, the promises have yet to be delivered.

PKR's Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has made it very clear that a manifesto is not a promise. Hence, the biggest differentiation is thay anty manifesto by Pakatan do not have to be and will not be fulfilled.

Khalid had already stated very clearly that all these while, whatever Pakatan had promised to the rakyat are mere political manifestos. Hence, they cannot fulfill. Selangor is very good example. Promises extolled by Pakatan in the previous general election such as takaful funds for the elderly, OKU; allowances for pre-schoolers; reducing the assessment rates; free medication for senior citizens age above 65 years; were not fulfilled, and they they remained as just a manifesto.

When Barisan Nasional launched "Janji ditepati", it was criticized by Pakatan. This shows that Pakatan is worried that BN intend to fulfill our promise to the rakyat. Hence, Pakatan keeps on attacking and twisting "Janji ditepati" to cover their failures.

Pakatan does not emphasize on promises. What they promise , which includes the Manifesto Rakyat, is just another manifesto, without any intention to stick to their promises. Once they hope to gain the support from the rakyat to win federal governance. But at the federal level, Pakatan will behave just like they did in Selangor – not bothering to deliver on their pledges. The future of the rakyat and the nation will end up as victims of the Pakatan's so-called empty "promises."
