Pakatan's Manifesto Rakyat is vague and superficial at best, and has selectively left out a number of important issues in their manifesto, thus proving that it is nothing more than populist policies meant to win votes.
Even on the most basic question of Pakatan's candidate for Prime Minister, they cannot reach an agreement and dare not announce or explain why to the public.
Instead, each Pakatan party wants their own party leader as their candidate for Prime Minister and because they are unable to reach a mutual consensus, they have decided to sweep this issue under the carpet.
The supporters of Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Dato' Seri Hadi Awang and Lim Guan Eng are all pushing for each of them to be the Prime Minister. But due to the political interest of the 3 Pakatan parties, they have resorted to giving vague answers and delay tactics as they are afraid of facing the issue. This is an injustice to the voters and is not ethical. If Pakatan wins the General Elections, it will be disastrous to national stability and development.
No question about BN's PM candidate
Ironically, when he was challenged, Anwar Ibrahim actually dared to attack BN by saying that we have never revealed our Prime Minister candidate as well. This is ridiculous, and as Anwar was once the Deputy Prime Minister under BN, he knows very well that since Independence, our Prime Minister was always the Chairman of BN. Therefore, if BN wins, our obvious choice for Prime Minister will be Dato' Sri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak. Has Anwar suddenly become so forgetful and blind to this fact?
Anwar had also dared to say that Pakatan's Prime Minister candidate is not a big issue. Not only have they failed to address the issue of the nation's income and expenditure, as well as produce blueprints on national and economic development, but they have also left out the agenda on culture. So how can Pakatan be expected to govern the nation?
Where will Pakatan get RM239.8 billion to fulfill their promises?
To fulfill all their promises listed in their manifesto, Pakatan must come up with RM239.8 billion. However, our nation's total income is only RM200 billion and Pakatan has failed to explain from where they will get the funds to fulfill their promises. Thus, I conclude that in less than two years of Pakatan taking over the government, Malaysia will follow in Greece's footsteps and be declared bankrupt, thus burdening the rakyat even more.
On the other hand, we in BN are driven by a series of transformational programmes and people-friendly policies under the leadership of our Prime Minister Dato' Sri Najib Razak. BN has taken great care to ensure that our policies are parallel. Any expenditure must be considered based on our nation's resources and any excess spending will be rejected. This is why once BN promises, BN delivers.
Pakatan not interested in people's welfare, only votes
Besides that, Pakatan has also completely ignored the Indian community in their manifesto, as well as the welfare of those in the disabled groups. This proves once again that Pakatan's policies are not aimed at benefitting all rakyat, but is only targeted at certain racial groups so that they can win more votes.

I urge the rakyat to take a good look at Pakatan's shallowness. They are only capable of coming up with slogans and are willing to sacrifice the nation's economy as long as they can win Putrajaya. Their populist policies will definitely push the nation's debt and the people's welfare will be destroyed all due to Pakatan's poor financial management!
