Lim Guan Eng evades topic on who in Pakatan will be PM;
DAP a mere sidekick under Pakatan's umbrella
DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng claim that Pakatan leaders will not discuss the distribution of Ministers position as the objective of DAP's political struggle is not to become Minister is a lame excuse by DAP to cover the fact that it has no power to give an opinion on the matter. The reality is that DAP is merely a humble, insignificant 'sidekick' to PAS and PKR.
On the surface, his remarks seem noble and generous but the truth is, the Penang Chief Minister is just trying to convince its supporters by doctoring the ugly truth that DAP is a flyweight party in the Opposition pact and holds no negotiating position with its so-called allies, PKR and PAS.
In the past, DAP chairman Karpal Singh had pointed out that the Federal Constitution does not mention that non-Muslims may not serve as Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister. He then said that he believes Lim Guan Eng might even one day be our Prime Minister but he was immediately stopped by Lim himself from speaking further, proving that DAP does not dare to speak such outrageous comments due to its minor and insignificant position.
Penang Chief Minister fears offending allies with DAP names as PM
Lim Guan Eng holds no power nor influence whereby he did not dare to utter a word but even went further to undervalue himself, stating that he is not qualified for the Prime Minister's job after Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz said only a Muslim, regardless of the race is eligible for the post. He even selfishly stated that he is contented with the role as Chief Minister of Penang
Previously, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim had said that if Pakatan takes over Putrajaya, DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang will take charge as Deputy Prime Minister but his statements met rebuttal from Nik Aziz while all DAP did was to remain silent over the remarks.
DAP leaders (with the exception of Karpal Singh whose views were described as 'personal opinions') are only 'understudies' to Anwar and Nik Aziz. They hold no authority to speak but seek to act as heroes to the public to distort the fact that they have not earned respect, even amongst the Pakatan leaders.
If one day Pakatan does take over Putrajaya, Nik Aziz and Anwar will be the ones to decide the candidates for Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. DAP will never hold such authority, nor have they the bravery to do so.
