No permanent or contractual staff are provided for Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

In a written reply to Liew Chin Tong (DAP-Bukit Bendera), Najib said officers from his office sometimes helped his wife in carrying out her official duties.

However, the Members of Parliament (Remuneration) Act 1980 states that the prime minister's wife is entitled to claim food, lodging and winter apparel allowances when she accompanies her husband on his official duties overseas.
