Anwar Gives Statement To Police At Dang Wangi
KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 (Bernama) — Opposition Chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was at the Dang Wangi police station today to give a statement in connection with a sex video where the man in the video was said to look like him. Anwar arrived at the police station at 2.50pm in a car together with his wife, Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, and his brother-in-law, Wan Mokhtar Wan Ismail.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 (Bernama) — Police are trying to trace the uploaders of a clip shown on popular websites yesterday of the sex video featuring someone resembling opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Deputy Inspector General of Police Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said today the investigation to trace the uploaders was begun with the cooperation of the Communication and Multimedia Commission shortly after word was received that a clip of the video was being shown on You-Tube and other websites. “However, we have yet to identify the uploaders,” he told reporters at Bukit Aman here.
No one had made a police report on the showing of the clip, Khalid said in response to a question, and added: “It is not necessary for a report to be lodged for an investigation to be carried out. What is important is for us to find out who are responsible (for uploading the clip).” The same people are believed to be responsible for the two clips, both 47 seconds long.
