Over two million expected at Youth Day do
PUTRAJAYA: Over two million youths are expected to converge here from May 23 to 27 for the National Youth Day celebration.
Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Gan Ping Sieu, expressing confidence in getting a good turnout for the annual event, said more than 500 events and activities would be held for young Malaysians to enjoy.
From concerts to exhibitions, visitors will have a myriad of options to choose from at more than 30 different locations within Putrajaya.
Gan said among the special features opened to visitors would be a Chinese youth cultural village.
Other activities include a youth tourism fair, an education fair, battle of the bands and a jazz festival which is expected to have local and international artistes.
