Najib, Wen discuss bilateral issues

Reuters picPUTRAJAYA, April 28 Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak this morning to discuss bilateral agreements expected to be signed later today.These include mutual recognition of higher education qualifications and strengthening economic and trade cooperation.Several contracts and memorandums of understanding (MoU) will also be signed between Malaysian and Chinese companies.Wen, who is on a two-day visit to Malaysia, arrived in a 12-car convoy at Dataran Perdana and was met by Najib and Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman at 10am.The two heads of government inspected a Royal Malay Regiment guard-of-honour before heading for a closed-door meeting.MORE TO COME
