Molested Teen Lodged A Report On A Bomoh
A police report had been lodged by a victim when her family members brought her at the Chukai police station about a bomoh in Kemaman for molesting her.
Supt Abdullah Sani Salat, Kemaman OCPD said that the suspect had been detained at his home at about 5pm the same day.
The 66-year-old bomoh who lived in Kampung Kemasik at about 9am on Saturday had first treated her grandfather for an illness.
Later the 19-year-old victim had been led by the bomoh to a room where he insisted that the treatment she required is private.
In the room, he began fondling her legs, breasts and private parts.
The victim managed to escape and went back with her family. On their way home to Kuala Terengganu, she told them about the molest.
There is Darul Shifa, which is an Islamic treatment centre. So, it is better for Muslims to go there instead of going to see bomohs who will then molest teenagers and women in cases reported in newspapers.
Most bomohs are not traditional medicinemen but most seems to be conmen who charges their victims exorbitant prices.
