Mamak: "Najib has failed ..."

Is it true that 1Malaysia has failed?

It looks like PAS is ever eager to announce that the 1Malaysia concept has failed based on the call for 1Melayu, 1Bumi by the 1st Assistant Editor of Utusan’s Group, Zaini Hassan. Harakah 25-28 April seemed to have a great time provoking the noble effort of unity of 1Malaysia.

By right, PAS should have known better than to conclude a failure of a government’s aspiration based only on one single article.

First of all, the overall concept of 1Malaysia is still brand new to be judged. It is an ongoing process believed to take years for it to show result as the Malaysians needs time to embrace this noble aspiration of total unity.

But even then, there is no sign that 1Malaysia is failing as recent development in politics and economic recorded otherwise:

· Malaysia’s economy continues to stay strong despite the global economic downturn.

· Malaysia too, remains as a stable and peaceful place.

· The ruling party, BN managed to regain the support from the rakyat as proven in the by-elections and Sarawak’s election.

· The Prime Minister who came out with this 1Malaysia concept is proven to be more popular than his party, UMNO/BN.

· The PM has also won the hearts of foreign countries and increased the country’s competitiveness in attracting FDI and tourism.

These encouraging developments is a clear evident of 1Malaysia concept progressing positively whereby Malaysia, is now back on its original track, heading confidently towards 2020.

The only one who is failing is none other but PAS, not 1Malaysia, not Najib and not even UMNO.

It should be in all Malaysians’ interest to unite as one nation, but somehow the Oppositions don’t seem to share the same interest. And PAS’s early response on 1Malaysia, confirms just that.

It is a well known fact that the Oppositions have been counting their luck on creating instability in the country. A strong and stable government is not good for them. The Oppositions are banking on a broken nation, a failed economy and a weak government to get what they want. A divided nation gives them more advantage. A suffering nation is even better for them. And with that, the Oppositions continue to sabotage the 1Malaysia concept of bringing the people together.

By all means, they try so hard to create racial issues just to shake things up and invite foreign criticisms. They would even go to the extent of promoting a Libyan-like turmoil and are willing to jeopardize the peace and prosperous lives of the Malaysians in order to achieve their political objectives.

The idea of 1Melayu, 1Bumi is only a feedback or a response against the racists campaign of DAP’s which is in line with the party’s ultimate objective to create racial tension and an unrest. PAS, being the party of fools and idiots just play along, helping DAP to instill hatred towards their very own race, the Malays.

It has been far too long that the DAP and the Chinese newspapers tried to create racial hostility. Only recently, that the Utusan Malaysia has started to fight back with this 1Melayu 1Bumi call.

And of course, it was received with more prejudice, biased, hypocrisy and double standard by the Chinese leaders and readers whom have been influenced by DAP.

Never to forget that this racial game is initiated by the Oppositions, particularly DAP in retaliation to 1Malaysia concept. DAP has never wished to unite but insist on the Chinese remain separated from other races in Malaysia. They never stop to provoke and challenge other races to create tensions and divert the government’s attention from focusing on building the nation and prospering the country.

Should the 1Malaysia actually failed, the only person that is to blame is the Oppositions. And should the 1Malaysia failed, the only one who will be at lost is the rakyat. And the only one who can make 1Malaysia a success is the rakyat themselves. Think about it…
