Merujuk kepada ucapan Menteri Besar Selangor sewaktu persidangan DUN baru-baru ini, jelas sangat-sangat bahawa SYABAS tidak lebih dari operasi yang mengaut keuntungan atas angin semata-mata.
Bagaimanakah SYABAS yang tidak langsung mempunyai apa-apa asset, infrastuktur ataupun liabiliti masih terus beroperasi dalam kerugian yang amat besar? Sepatutnya SYABAS mampu mencatat keuntungan yang berlipat kali ganda kerana mereka tidak mempunyai apa-apa tanggungan dari segi kos.
Namun, kita lihat prestasi SYABAS amat menyedihkan. Perbelanjaan mereka juga boros. Apa kelayakan Pengerusi SYABAS, Tan Sri Rozali Ismail mendapat gaji RM5.3 juta setahun...?
Dalam keadaan SYABAS memberi khidmat yang amat buruk dan tidak memuaskan hati, sepatutnya Tan Sri Rozali dipecat dari jawatan Pengerusi SYABAS.
Maka, saya sebagai rakyat Selangor meminta supaya SYABAS dibubarkan dan khidmat air di Selangor diserahkan kembali kepada Kerajaan Selangor.
Sudah tiba masanya syarikat-syarikat untung atas angin seperti SYABAS dihapuskan sama sekali dari muka bumi Selangor ini.

PUBLIC hospitals should allocate more of their medical resources to the ordinary people rather than set up special or VIP medical centres for the rich, some policymakers told Chinas parliament session in March. Of course, rich people have the freedom to buy premium service, but they should get it from private hospitals, said Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference representative Feng Shiliang. This is fair comment as many provincial and city-level government hospitals offer VIP services where those who can pay are given preference for treatment. Last year, the Chinese Health Ministry introduced a healthcare reform aimed at establishing a medical care system that is affordable and exceptional in service.
