Hulu Langat landslide: Make probe results public, says PKR

PETALING JAYA, May 24 PKR has urged the government to make public the result of the investigation into the deadly landslide that hit an orphanage in Hulu Langat over the weekend, killing 16 people.PKR vice-president Chua Tian Chang said the result should not be classified under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).The investigation must also be made publicly available, he told reporters today.The (Selangor) state government (had) intended to release the finding of the investigation into Bukit Antarabangsa. But we were forced to stop and not sell the report to the public because of the Official Secrets Act, he said.A massive landslide struck Bukit Antarabangsa in Kuala Lumpur in 2008, destroying 14 bungalows and forcing 2,000 residents to be evacuated.MORE TO COME
