PM to announce more confirmed projects under ETP tomorrow
Datuk Seri Najib Razak will announce more confirmed projects under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) tomorrow, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Senator Datuk Seri Idris Jala said tonight.
He said that on October 25, the prime minister had announced nine confirmed projects under the ETP during the launch of the ETP-A Roadmap for Malaysia.
“The announcement of confirmed projects proves that ETP is going on well,” he told Bernama after a live interview on Bernama TV’s Daily Focus programme here.
“As we move into a new year, there are a lot of confirmed projects on the ground,” he added.
Led by the private sector, the ETP will transform the Malaysian economy to become a high-income country with a Gross National Income per capita of at least RM48,000 by 2020, with 74 per cent of this growth delivered by the National Key Economic Areas.
