MCA unintelligent to be Umno bootlicker
Well, Pussy Chua should know the reality ...
'Where is your grandeur? You have been informed in no unclear phrases by the Umno people at the groundwork that you're no longer wanted by Umno.'
Soi Lek: Some Umno grassroots are witless
DOC: From what comes out of Umno's mouth - may it be from the grassroots or the top-level leadership - I think we can safely conclude Umno members in general are imbecilic.
Take precedent, Hishammuddin Hussein, who constantly utter embarrasing things, the DPM who goes on bombasting on racist strategies which until today has not shown any affirmative impact for Umno.
Not forgetting, our metamorphosing PM whose policies are like the tall grass, which transforms according to the transmuting political winds.
Rolls-Royce: CSL (Chua Soi Lek), should the substitution for the Malaysian Chinese be not to vote at all? For a party to blatantly said it does not need your vote, it means it does not have to look after your interests and welfare.
Have the welfare of the Chinese ever been looked after by the UMNO grassroot and national leaders? In an exhange for a place to earn livelihood, the Chinese role has always been the paymaster in this country.
It's true that UMNO only wants the Chinese to do business. But has it ever crossed your mind that we have to do more than business to prosper?
Yeoh Chee Weng: Becoming a doormat fro UMNO is not a smart choice for MCA leaders. Where's your pride? You have been informally told that in no uncertain terms by the Umno grassroots you are no longer needed by Umno.
PAS is more honest and open in their insistence of an Islamic state, different from Umno which is also working towards the same objective but do it hypocritically and covertly. Let us work hand in hand with the opposition with Pakatan Rakyat to bring down the corruption and racialism by Umno.
Currently this is the priority. The non-Muslim can later discuss with PAS on a mutually agreable conclusion on whether Malaysia can be an Islamic state.
Mohd Hazwan: I think people like Dr Chua may be living in a cushion. The truth is that, he is the one who is making things easy. Corruption, injustice and bad governance are sometimes are taken out by religion.
The country and the livelihood of the common people had been immobilised by this. We should be ecstatic if the religion can provide this. Wasalam.
Anonymous: So (Titiwangsa Umno division chief) Johari Abdul Ghani, to win Titiwangsa you will need about 70 percent of the Malay votes?
Are you unable to remember who had won there in the last election? Yes, it was PAS. Hence, just stop dreaming and go back to the hole where you came from.
SAPP and PKR are in a serious dispute.
Goodmen: It is a wrong conclusion for the people who keep on repeating about a Sabah-based party for Sabah . You are being used into using narrow-minded sentiment. The show should be runned by Sabahans who understand the needs of Sabah, so it is not important where the party is based.
For Yong Teck Lee (YTL), failure to honour the Malaysian agreement by the federal government made you talk about suing them - however if you are a part of a new Pakatan Rakyat federal government, you would not have to do it since they had signed a document on reviewing 20 points.
His ambition to be a kingmaker makes YTL keeps his role as 'independent'. This guy has lots of tricks. Do not trust him.
Disgusted: Seems like in brawl between SAPP and Pakatan, BN can relax. When the opposition are having problems, can you think of who will stand to gain. Are you that idiotic?
It is absurb for Yong to be entering the contest to prove that he and SAPP are important to the politics in Sabah. If he does badly in the contest, he will regret his lost of credibility.
It will be great to achieve a peaceful solution amongst the opposition and concentrate on the strength and use the weakness of BN to help sway the votes to support them instead of brawling with one another. The better party will win hopefully.
Wira: A SAPP candidate was suggested in an earlier suggestion to compete under Pakatan banner. SAPP leadership are not interested in the unity of the oppostion it seemed. Yong is hoped to lost his deposit.
Perkasa plans demo in a u-turn over a nightlife hub
Anonymous: In their support of the PM's idea, in my thought was that Perkasa had gone mad. Arman Azha Abu Haniffa who is the Perkasa Youth chief is himself today. He must be sober now. The comedy was appreciated!
Anonymous: Instead of making Malaysia another Thailand, it should be promoted as a family-orientated tourist destination.
Many of the clients from the youngsters will look for social escorts/call girls, etc when they go to nightclubs who may be the breeding place for vice. This could result in a growth in STD, HIV and teenage pregnancies.
Strict rules on drunk driving are enforced in western cities. Special taxis will be arranged by people who drink at nightclubs to take them home. However, in midnight at Malaysia, one has a good chance of getting mugged in the taxi on their way home.
Anonymous2: In KL, I think there are enough clubs. Opportunists like Umno will wait for the chance to give all of the licenses to make tons of money to their cronies.
